Refund Policy

Summary

Monthly plans: cancel anytime, no refund for the current month. Annual plans: full refund within 30 days; pro-rated if we remove a core feature. Unused downgrade credits are applied to your account. Refund requests are processed within 10 business days.

1. Overview

Gyansetu Digitalisation Solutions ("Gyansetu", "we", "us") wants you to be completely satisfied with our platform. This Refund Policy sets out the conditions under which we will issue refunds for subscription fees paid for access to our Smart City OS, Digital Twin, Analytics, and IoT services.

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. By subscribing to any Gyansetu plan, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below. If you have questions before purchasing, please contact billing@gyansetu-digital.in.

2. Monthly Subscriptions

Month-to-Month Plans

  • check_circle Cancel anytime — you may cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing billing@gyansetu-digital.in. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • info No refund for the current month — we do not issue partial or full refunds for the month in which you cancel. You will retain full access to the platform until the end of that billing period.
  • check_circle Access until period end — your account remains fully active and you can continue using all features until the last day of your paid billing period, even after submitting a cancellation request.

3. Annual Subscriptions

Annual (Yearly) Plans

  • check_circle 30-day full refund — if you cancel your annual subscription within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date or annual renewal date, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. No questions asked.
  • check_circle Pro-rated refund for core feature removal — in the event that Gyansetu permanently removes a feature that was listed as a core component of your subscribed plan at the time of purchase, you are entitled to request a pro-rated refund calculated on the remaining unused portion of your annual subscription period.
  • info After 30 days (general cancellation) — cancellations after the 30-day window are not eligible for a refund, except in the pro-rated feature-removal scenario described above. Your access continues until the end of the paid annual period.

"Core feature" is defined as a primary capability explicitly advertised on our pricing page at the time of your subscription. Minor changes to UI, peripheral features, or integrations with third-party services outside our control do not constitute core feature removal.

4. Downgrade Credits

If you downgrade from a higher plan to a lower plan during an active subscription period, the unused value of your current plan will be calculated and applied as a credit to your Gyansetu account. This credit is:

5. Auto-Renewal

Renewal Reminder

We will send an email reminder to your registered address 14 calendar days before the auto-renewal date for any annual subscription. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month without a reminder email.

How to Cancel Before Renewal

To prevent an upcoming auto-renewal charge, cancel your subscription before the renewal date via your account settings or by emailing billing@gyansetu-digital.in. Cancellations received after the renewal charge has been processed are subject to the standard refund terms above.

Price Changes

If subscription pricing changes before your renewal, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the service after the new pricing takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.

6. Exceptions — No Refund Situations

Gyansetu reserves the right to deny refund requests in the following circumstances:

Policy Violations

If your account is suspended or terminated due to a material breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy (e.g., illegal activity, abuse of the platform), no refund will be issued for any fees paid.

Misuse or Fraudulent Activity

Accounts found to be using the platform for fraudulent purposes, generating spam, or attempting to circumvent platform limits are not eligible for refunds.

Requests Outside Eligibility Window

Annual plan refund requests submitted more than 30 days after purchase or renewal (other than core-feature-removal claims) are not eligible.

Customer-Side Issues

We do not issue refunds for dissatisfaction caused by issues outside our control, including customer-side network problems, unsupported hardware, or failure to use the service.

7. How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, follow these steps:

    Email our billing team

    Send an email to billing@gyansetu-digital.in with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Account Name / Order ID]".

    Include your order details

    Provide: your registered email address, organisation name, order/invoice number, date of purchase, plan name, and the reason for your refund request.

  3. 3

    Await confirmation

    We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and provide a decision. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days and returned to the original payment method. Processing time on your bank's side may add additional days.
